Technology and Media Services

The Instructional Technology Department will provide all of our member school districts timely, efficient, and effective resources to help promote increased student achievement through the use of technology. It is our mission to empower our learning community to:
Communicate * Innovate * Integrate * Collaborate
by using existing and emergent technologies coupled with tried and true teaching.
In addition, Dawson Educational Cooperative's Technology staff provides technical support, consultation,  infrastructure management, desktop support, technology planning, funding procurement, E-rate application assistance, network security and professional development for area schools in our cooperative area.

Makerspace Equipment

Coding Equipment, Stop-Motion, and much more.

DEC offers equipment checkout for member schools to receive equipment on a two-week basis. DEC Coordinators and Specialists will also work with teachers and students on how to use the equipment.

IT Services

On-site Network/Technical Assistance

DEC Technology Dept. offers technical assistance for member schools which include network services, eRate assistance, and much more.

DEC Makerspace

DEC offers schools the opportunity to come and use the Makerspace with teachers/students.

Makerspaces are creative, DIY spaces where people can gather to create, invent, and learn. At DEC,we have 3D printers, software, electronics, craft and hardware supplies and tools, and more.
